COMMENT FAIRE MIEUX

(HOW TO DO BETTER) Over the past few months, I’ve become increasingly focused on the idea of self-betterment. Not in the exaggerated or performative sense that exists online, but in quieter, more practical ways. Creating structure where there previously wasn’t any. Becoming more disciplined with my time. Eating properly. Training consistently. Learning how to focus. Learning how to slow down. Trying to build healthier relationships with work, ambition, and the people around me. A lot of this came from recognising how easy it is to become trapped in cycles of constant output without direction. Constant movement without improvement. This collection was developed during that shift. COMMENT FAIRE MIEUX translates loosely to “how to do better”, but the title is intended more as an open question than a statement. A question directed inward. How do you improve your work? Your routines? Your environment? Yourself? The collection reflects that mindset through restraint, refinement, and structure. Less excess. Less noise. More focus on permanence, silhouette, fabrication, and intention. Rather than creating pieces designed around temporary moments, the aim was to develop garments that feel grounded and lasting, pieces that exist as part of a wider system rather than isolated statements. At the same time, the collection still carries the tensions that exist within both personal growth and independent creative work. The balancing of ambition and exhaustion. Discipline and obsession. Progress and uncertainty. Building SNIDE over the past year has forced me to confront a lot about myself, both good and bad. This collection exists within that process. COMMENT FAIRE MIEUX is not about perfection. It’s about recognising that improvement is ongoing, and choosing to continue anyway. (Creative director Louie Glen)
